SHAY KUKUI
Born in Rosh Pina in 1999, Shay graduated Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts. She won the America-Israel Cultural Foundation Scholarship in 2014. She later danced in Ness Ziona Ballet Company under the direction of Eli Lazar, and graduated the first class of “La Collectize!” under the artistic direction of Ido Feder and Lilach Livne.
Shay is currently active in 'Penthouss' - a group of multidisciplinary artists who exhibit their work in museums, theaters and galleries around the world (including: Science Gallery-Rotterdam, MK Gallery-UK, Tel Aviv Museum, Jaffa Museum, Holon Museum of Design, Inbal Theater). Shay has worked with various choreographers, including Lilach Livne in the work "Young Girls Wanna Dance Their Spirit", Ido Feder on "Ready!" and Basmat Nossen on "What is a Soul?", originally created for the Diver Festival 2019. Shay has since performed in Israel and around the world, participating in a play at the Cameri Theater - "Endless Grieving" by Hanoch Levin - directed by Ari Folman and choreographed by Andrea K. Martini.

Shay joined Avshalom Pollak Dance Theater in 2020.
