Born in Stavanger, Norway. Marta graduated with a bachelor in modern and contemporary dance in Oslo National Academy of the Arts in 2009.

Between 2009-2014, she was freelancing in Norway and abroad, performing with choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Hege Haagenrud, Linda Birkedal and Christopher Arouni.

From 2011-2014, she was a dancer for the Norwegian dance company «Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt», participating in creation and performing in Norway and abroad. During this time, Marta also created the duet «Idunn’s Epler» together with Marie Male Kalstø, and participated in several video art projects.

Marta joined Avshalom Pollak Dance Theatre in 2014.
